Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have faced a new blow after the release of a bombshell poll. YouGov has released the results of its latest Royal Family favourability poll, conducted this month on October 22 and October 23.
The poll shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be failing to impress the public, with Meghan’s latest popularity rating her lowest to date. This comes as the poll revealed that 68% of those who took part held a negative opinion of Meghan.

Only 20% had a positive opinion about her. For Harry, the poll found that 60% of voters had a negative opinion of him.
Just 29% said they felt positively about him. This is likely to be a blow for the couple, who are living back in Britain after relocating in August from the US, where they set up home in 2020.
The couple seem to want to impress the British public, as shown by their royal-style public walkabout in Nottingham earlier this month. It seems to have been unsuccessful so far.
The only royal less popular than Meghan in the poll is Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. This comes as no surprise, given the scandals he has faced.
The poll results may also be a blow for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as other royals seem to be thriving in the popularity poll. This includes the Prince and Princess of Wales, Harry’s estranged brother and sister-in-law.
The poll shows that 74% of voters had a positive opinion of Prince William, and 72% had a positive opinion of Princess Catherine. This meant they ranked as the two most popular royals, with Princess Anne in third place.
The poll results also showed that 64% of Britons believe the UK should continue to have a monarchy, while just 25% would rather the UK had an elected head of state instead.
