The man seen alongside Kidman is believed to be private equity businessman Michael Reinstein, 54, who has reportedly been seen with the actress before.
Unlike Kidman, Reinstein has largely stayed out of the public spotlight despite leading a global investment firm. He is the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Regent, which he established in 2013.
According to the company’s website, Reinstein has led more than 45 acquisitions across the automotive, industrial, consumer, luxury, media, and technology sectors. The firm says it employs more than 40,000 people across 65 countries.
Before founding Regent, Reinstein worked in the Office of President Ronald Reagan. He later attended the University of Southern California and graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.
While Reinstein has an Instagram account with more than 43,000 followers, the profile includes little information beyond his name and offers few insights into his personal life.
The Portofino sighting comes as Kidman’s personal life continues to attract public attention following her divorce from Keith Urban. She was previously linked to another prominent businessman.

The plan gives Kidman more than five times the time Urban receives. Still, both parents pledged to remain involved in the big-picture decisions. According to the filing, Kidman and Urban jointly make all major choices concerning their daughters’ lives.
No Monthly Support, and Strict Rules for Co-Parenting
When it came to money, there were no messy support battles. The documents note that neither pays traditional monthly child support. Instead, they have established a private financial agreement, with Urban reportedly covering his obligations in advance.

Alongside the custody details, both Kidman and Urban have agreed to maintain a respectful co-parenting relationship. The exes will avoid negative remarks about one another and support their daughters’ connections to both sides of the family.
