NICOLAS Cage’s Malibu mansion has nearly been swallowed by a massive sinkhole in terrifying new photos.
The Oscar-winning actor might be losing his California beach house after the property faced severe structural issues.
Photos obtained by The U.S. Sun on Tuesday show the aftermath of Nicolas’s $10.5 million waterfront home after it was almost destroyed by 10-foot waves brought on by Hurricane Marie.
The driveway has entirely collapsed, and the adjacent private road is also falling into the ocean after the high tides and pounding surf from the hurricane in the Pacific over the last few days.
The damage is so severe that there’s currently no access in or out of the luxurious neighborhood.
Water main breaks and the gas line have also been cut off, as many multimillion-dollar homes risk collapsing into the ocean.

Traffic cones and giant yellow tarps line the perimeter of Nicolas’s lavish pad where the pavement gave way.
It’s unclear if any of the movie star’s cars or other personal belongings were destroyed in the collapse.
Nicolas, 62, hasn’t had very good luck with his real estate portfolio.
He lost his iconic New Orleans home to foreclosure in 2009 – the same mansion that famously inspired the FX show American Horror Story because of its haunting history.
The National Treasure star purchased the LaLaurie Mansion in the French Quarter in 2007, which was widely considered one of the most haunted houses in America because of the horrific crimes committed on the property in the early 19th century.
Despite its known appeal, Nicolas famously said he wasn’t drawn to the home for its history, but for its appearance.
He previously claimed he wanted a “ghost- front property” to draw inspiration from while writing a horror novel, which has yet to be completed.
While he no longer owns the home, a local superstition holds that the house is cursed and that this curse caused the financial hardships that plagued his career in the years after, including owing over $14 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS.
The 200-year-old mansion boasts eight bedrooms, a private speakeasy, and a 2,000-bottle wine cellar.
The home has reportedly had multiple owners since it was in Nicolas’ hands.
After finally paying off his debt in 2022 following years of starring in low-budget films, Nicolas has transitioned back into more mainstream roles.
However, he hit a snag with his latest on-screen role, playing a private investigator and superhero in the Amazon Prime Video series, Spider-Noir.
Earlier this month, the streamer canceled the series, just months after its first season premiere.
