NCIS fans have a reason to celebrate! Mark Harmon, 75, is back in the NCIS universe, once again stepping into the world of Leroy Jethro Gibbs for the prequel series NCIS: Origins.
But there’s an even bigger surprise: Emily Wickersham is joining him for a special reunion, reprising her beloved role as Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop.
Emily shared several behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, including a heartwarming selfie of the two embracing. She also posted pictures with other cast members, bringing back memories of the original NCIS series.
Reflecting on the reunion, Emily wrote: “A little piece of my origin story… I love this show, these people, and being a tiny part of it.”
She also revealed that returning to the NCIS set felt like no time had passed at all.
Mark and Emily worked together for years before both leaving the original series in 2021. Now, seeing them together again has brought a wave of nostalgia to longtime fans.
