Alina Habba’s new billionaire husband has a history of relationships with influential women
Alina Habba’s marriage to Turhan Mildon has brought attention to more than their Waldorf Astoria wedding. The Turkish billionaire’s previous relationships also involved women whose families had prominent business and political connections.
Habba, 42, married Mildon, 29, on Saturday in New York City after three months of wedding planning. The former personal attorney to Donald Trump met him earlier this year, following her divorce from Gregg Reuben.

Before marrying Habba, Mildon was married to the daughter of a prominent Turkish businessman and later dated the daughter of a senior Venezuelan official.
Mildon has denied that political considerations influenced his decision to marry Habba.
“This marriage has no political motivation,” he told Middle East Eye.
The relationships that preceded his marriage to Habba
Mildon’s former wife, Betul Gursoy, came from a family with significant business connections in Turkey.

the company that built Istanbul’s Camlica Mosque. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally commissioned the project.

Mildon and Gursoy divorced in 2024. He subsequently dated the daughter of Remigio Ceballos, a prominent Venezuelan admiral who now serves as the country’s ambassador to China.
His marriage to Habba adds another relationship with a woman connected to a prominent political figure. Habba has been an outspoken defender of Trump and previously served as his personal lawyer.
Those connections are part of Mildon’s relationship history, but the supplied reporting does not establish that he chose his partners to obtain business advantages.
Mildon is chief executive of Miller Holding, through which he has developed construction-related relationships with leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Venezuela.
His company Milvest has secured approximately $1 billion in construction contracts in Congo since 2021. Those opportunities followed Erdoğan’s introduction of Mildon to Congolese President Felix Tshisekedi.

Mildon’s family also has close ties to the Turkish president.
Despite his international business activities, he rarely appears in Turkish media or gives interviews. He has explained that his business deals directly with consumers and therefore does not require him to maintain a public profile.
How his relationship with Habba began
Habba and Mildon met at an event at Washington’s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where he is a donor.
Their introduction came after Habba’s divorce from Reuben. In February 2026, she placed her Bernardsville, New Jersey, home on the market. She later moved to a mansion near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club, around the time she is believed to have started dating Mildon.

Their relationship culminated in Habba’s third marriage, with the couple celebrating at Manhattan’s Waldorf Astoria.
Guests included Kash Patel, Todd Blanche and Trump aide Margo Martin.
While Mildon’s past relationships and business network have drawn attention following the wedding, his own explanation for marrying Habba remains clear: he says the relationship has no political motivation.
