Pat Sajak Pokes Fun at His ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Scooby-Doo Impression

Jeepers! Former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak has poked fun at Scooby-Doo impression that he did years ago on the game show. Sajak made a TikTok, posted to his daughter’s account, to a popular TikTok sound.
“My dad when he decided to do a Scooby Doo impression on a random episode of Wheel of Fortune,” Maggie captioned her Instagram post. “Scooby-Who?” #wheeloffortune #patsajak #impression.”
“I didn’t have a pen and paper,” Pat mouthed. “I got to the mic, I’m like, ‘Oh! Press record. Ah Ah Ah! Driver, roll up the partition, please.” Then, Sajak walked away from the camera shot, leaving just a slate wall on screen.
This sound came from the 2014 song, “Partition” by Beyoncé. It was from a behind-the-scenes YouTube video that the singer had released in January 2014. TikTok users began using the sound in April 2026 to show how they freestyle through their lives.
The video that Sajak posted is a reference to a Scooby-Doo impression he did on the game show in December 2007. The “Fictional Character” puzzle was “Shaggy & Scooby-Doo.”
“Whoa!” Sajak said.
The host was impressed because only the “S’s” were called before the contestant solved the puzzle. “That’s crazy,” Sajak said.
“I have just one thing to say to you,” the host said. Then, he proceeded to bark like a dog, particularly like Scooby-Doo. This caused the contestants and audience to laugh.
Fans left their thoughts on both the impression and the mocking in the comments. “So good!” one fan said with crying emojis.
“Pat and Beyoncé collab when?” asked another.
“This is hilarious! Go Pat,” a third added.
“Good one!” a follower wrote.
“He’s so awesome!” another commented.
“Miss you, Pat!” many others said. A few fans commented with laughing emojis.
Sajak retired from Wheel of Fortune after Season 41. Ryan Seacrest took his place, alongside Vanna White.
Since then, Maggie has been sharing videos and pictures of her dad, giving fans a brief update on his life. In June, he made a video, joking that he moved to Montana. He was standing in front of palm trees and water, indicating that he was somewhere tropical.
