Disney+ announced they will be producing a remake of Three Men and a Baby with Zac Efron attached to star. The original Three Men and a Baby was a remake itself from a French film called Trois hommes et un couffin. The news of the Efron version was announced back in 2020. Of course, COVID hit and the pandemic shut down the world. After we got back to something akin to normal, the entertainment industry had its own shutdown with the actors and writers’ guild strikes. It’s unclear if and when the remake will be film. Various reports say the film is still in development and Efron is currently filming another movie.

Selleck was already a household name before Three Men and a Baby premiered. He was the lead in Magnum P.I. and returned to the series after filming Three Men. After the series ended, Selleck continued to have success in both television in film. He starred in Her Alibi opposite supermodel Paulina Porizkova, An Innocent Man, a number of Quigley Down Under movies, as well as the sequel to Three Men and Baby, Three Men and a Little Lady. He had multi-episode arcs on Friends and Boston Legal. Hee starred in nine Jesse Stone movies before taking on the role as NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods, a role he would be in for 14 seasons on CBS.
