BREAKING: Rudy Giuliani rushed to a Florida hospital and is now fighting for his life in critical condition.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is hospitalized in critical, but stable condition, a spokesperson for the close President Trump ally said Sunday.

“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition, the spokesperson said in a statement.

“Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak. We do ask that you join us in prayer for America’s Mayor – Rudy Giuliani.”

It’s unclear what ailment the 81-year-old ex-mayor and former Trump attorney is being treated for while in the care of a Florida hospital.

Two days ago, in a Friday broadcast on his show, “America’s Mayor Live,” Giuliani coughed and noted that his voice was suffering as he was “under the weather.”

Trump praised Giuliani in a Truth Social post after the news of his hospital stay broke.

“Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a True Warrior, and the Best Mayor in the History of New York City, BY FAR, has been hospitalized, and is in critical condition,” the president wrote.

“What a tragedy that he was treated so badly by the Radical Left Lunatics, Democrats ALL — AND HE WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!” Trump added. “They cheated on the Elections, fabricated hundreds of stories, did anything possible to destroy our Nation, and now, look at Rudy. So sad! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Former Mayor Eric Adams wished Giuliani a speedy recovery, adding that he was saving a cigar for him once he’s released from the hospital.

“Mayor @RudyGiuliani devoted his life to this city, from his days as a federal prosecutor to leading New York through 9/11. He was there when we needed him most,” Adams wrote on X. “I’m praying for Rudy and his family and hoping for a full recovery.

We shared a cigar in Florida not too long ago. I’m saving one for when you’re back home, my friend.”

Giuliani will turn 82 on May 28 and is set to celebrate his birthday on Long Island with supporters who purchase $125-a-person tickets the following Saturday, according to an event advertisement.

“America’s Mayor” has had past health battles, including one possible condition stemming from his time helming the Big Apple during and after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, which earned him the title.

Giuliani’s lawyers revealed in June 2024 that he has “possible” 9/11-related lung disease as they pleaded with a bankruptcy judge not to let someone else take over his finances.

The diagnosis was revealed when he owed $148 million in damages after losing a defamation case against two Georgia election workers whom he falsely accused of voter fraud.

Giuliani was also hospitalized for multiple days with a fractured vertebra after he and adviser Ted Goodman were rear-ended by a 19-year-old girl on Aug. 30 on Interstate 93 in New Hampshire

He was the passenger in a rented Ford Bronco driving along the Interstate in Manchester when he said he was flagged down by a woman who had been a victim of domestic violence on the southbound side, state police officials said at the time.

Giuliani and his driver, identified as longtime spokesman Theodore Goodman, pulled over to render aid, called 911, and waited for police to arrive.

After cops arrived, the pair left the woman and returned to the highway — this time driving on the northbound side.

They were then struck from behind “almost directly across from the scene” of the reported domestic violence incident where officers were still responding, according to a New Hampshire State Police release.

The Bronco was then hit by a 19-year-old driving a Honda HR-V traveling at a high rate of speed, sending both cars careening into the median, police said.

The two-term mayor was discharged from the hospital earlier than expected, and arrived at Ground Zero in a wheelchair and large body brace for the annual 9/11 memorial ceremony just weeks later.

The former city leader later recounted in an episode of “The Rudy Giuliani Show” that the accident was one of the most agonizing moments of his life.

“I got terrible injuries, but I would have been killed if I didn’t have my seatbelt on,” Giuliani recalled in the episode.

“I would have gone right through the window, so thank God I had the seatbelt on. I felt more pain than maybe I ever felt.”

Trump announced he would honor the political scion with the vaunted Presidential Medal of Freedom, following the harrowing crash.

Giuliani recently sat down with “Pod Force One” host Miranda Devine for an episode released just weeks ago in early April — blasting current New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani for his handling of crime and immigration in the city.

He also revealed in the episode that he had drafted a racketeering case against Joe Biden that alleged the former vice president served as “point man” in foreign policy posts that often did nothing for the US.
