Russell Crowe continues to expand his impressive film career with new projects. In 2022, he starred in, directed, and wrote the thriller Poker Face. That same year, he appeared in The Fighter: King of the Ring, a film exploring the origins of boxing. In 2023, he was featured in the thriller Project Georgetown, and in 2024, Crowe appeared in the action film Territory of Evil. Additionally, in March 2023, he participated in the premiere of ARK: The Animated Series, based on the popular adventure game, where he voiced a character and worked as an executive producer.

During the Karlovy Vary Festival in July 2023, Crowe shared his thoughts on his career’s future. “I’ll take Ridley Scott as my role model; he’s still exploring new things in his work. Or I’ll just stop, and you’ll never hear from me again,” said the actor, acknowledging that he hasn’t made a final decision yet.

As a young man, Crowe aspired to be a rock star and still sees music as a significant part of his life. In the 1980s, he released several songs, including the single I Just Wanna Be Like Marlon Brando under the name Russ Le Roq. While he didn’t become a rock sensation, he often performed in nightclubs.
Later, Crowe participated in various musical projects, with his most recent band, Indoor Garden Party, formed in 2017. The band toured Australia and Europe in 2023, performing at venues ranging from small clubs to iconic locations like the Sydney Opera House and the Australia Zoo. Currently, Crowe is in a relationship with Britney Theriot, a longtime friend 26 years his junior. They met on the set of Broken City in 2013, but their romance only became public in 2020.

Reports suggest that Crowe has proposed to Theriot. He was previously married to singer Danielle Spencer for nine years, with whom he has two sons: Charles, born in 2003, and Tennyson, born in 2006. Crowe has frequently expressed how meaningful fatherhood is to him: “Parenthood is one of the most special things that has ever happened to me.”
