The popular procedural crime drama was already mentioned in the previous section, but it seems inevitable that a 21st-season renewal will occur. What’s the right answer, and when can we expect it to be released?

Upon receiving the announcement of the first fall schedule and the cutting of NCIS Season 21, we felt that our prayers had been answered. As for a fall release, the writing process should be finished by summer and in post-production before fall, but that is not an option due to the writers’ strike. As a result, a more objective release would follow in mid-2024.

CBS has stated that they will not be releasing NCIS Season 21 for this fall, andver they say, they will be doing reruns on the CBS network on Mondays at 9/8c (for the most part, we recommend you check out the new revised CBS’s 2023–24 schedule for now which includes the NCIS 20th anniversary marathon for September 2023 (again, a bonus for having missed NCIS material).

Despite the absence of a new season, there is something to look forward to this autumn. This might be an ideal moment to revisit the earlier 20 seasons of NCIS!

Since Season 21 is being written on hold, there have been no official announcements regarding any additions or deductions to the cast, except for Mark Harmon’s absence. Additionally, there are rumors that they will bring back Michael Weatherly and Cote De Pablo, as well as other key characters.

Despite Diona Reasonover’s recent surgery, we are unaware if she has gotten the season off to a good start. Shouldn’t have written out Kasie before production commenced for Season 21? I don’t think the plot for her neurological illness will be carried over into Season 21.

The two eventually decided to move in together following the ‘definite improvement’ of their relationship. Season 21 will likely look at the trials and tribulations of this dynamic while dealing with their work responsibilities.

Is there a chance for a legendary crossover to occur in the franchise?

Season 20 saw a carefully crafted crossover of three series, bringing just the right amount of flavor and personality to the final season finale, which will hopefully allow NCIS: Hawaii to work together seamlessly.
