Find your wedding ring around a fish in Australia
Nathan Reeves had lost his wedding ring while swimming off Norfolk Island in Australia and thought he would never find it. To his surprise his wedding ring was seen around the neck of a fish five months after his disappearance.
Somehow Nathan’s ring reached the body of the fish , as we can see in the images that have been published by local media.
Nathan and his wife had decided to spend the day swimming on the island. At some point, Nathan realized that he was not wearing his wedding ring, a symbol of commitment to his wife. So losing him was a real tragedy.
They tried to search for him without any success . Both they and local divers set out to search for the gold ring, but all search was in vain.
Until… five months later a diver, Susan Prior, saw a ring on the body of a little fish.

“I only care about the fish”
The problem now is how to remove the ring from the fish. The only way is to catch the fish with a net and gently remove the ring so as not to harm the sea creature. The diver told the media that she is only concerned about the fish, because if it does not retire, the day will come when the ring will cut it.
Residents of the island have offered to search for the fish with metal detectors and remove the ring. They hope to see the fish again.
This story reminds us of the story of a woman who lost her wedding ring and found it 15 years later around a carrot in her home garden.
Or the story of the wedding ring that was recovered by a diver after 80 years .
