The new Mazda CX-60 is capable of offering a personalized experience to each driver. Through a camera, this system is capable of detecting the eyes and saving the preferences of up to six people, plus guests, in more than 250 different settings.

Mazda is a different brand. From its Hiroshima headquarters, it develops and refines human-oriented technologies to enhance the driving experience and cater to the individual needs of each person. The arrival of the Mazda CX-60 has highlighted the DNA of the Japanese firm and has made clear the care with which it designs and manufactures each of its models.

Among its extensive list of technological arsenal, the facial recognition system stands out, which performs three functions. First of all, automatic guidance through a camera located on the center console’s multimedia screen detects the position of the driver’s eyes and estimates the driver’s build to automatically adjust the seat, the steering wheel, the Head-Up screen. Display or exterior mirrors.

Second, the automatic reset function restores the settings chosen by each driver. This is possible thanks to the fact that the system is capable of saving the preferences of up to six different drivers, plus guests, in more than 250 settings, such as air conditioning or sound.

Finally, the Mazda CX-60 also has an assistance that facilitates the entry and exit of the vehicle. In this way, the car itself is capable of moving the steering wheel and the seat to enable access and descent.

An extensive list of assistants highlights the acclaimed i-Activsense, Mazda’s set of driving assistance systems. Hill descent control, which makes it easier to go down steep slopes with slippery or uneven surfaces; the speed limiter, based on the recognition of traffic signs or the detection of vehicles approaching from behind, among others, certify this recognition. To all of them we must add the blind spot control, the city braking assistant or the rear pedestrian detection.

The Mazda CX-60’s safety doesn’t stop there. The Japanese brand has placed special emphasis on improving passive safety through innovative technologies. For this reason, after analyzing real accidents, the bonnet and front bumper have been redesigned with the aim of protecting not only the vehicle itself, but also the cars with which a collision may occur and their occupants or improve the protection of a pedestrian or a cyclist in the event of being run over.
